Who is Orange The Tiger?

My actual name is Lucia, but many of my friends call me Lucy.

I grew up up surrounded by sky-reaching mountains in North-Eastern Italy and now I live under the sea level, in the lovely Netherlands. I am a scientist with a passion for arts, or an artist with a passion for science, or simply both.

I’m a biologist specialised in animal behaviour because I have always been deeply fascinated by animals. If you check my university notebooks, you will see that there is hardly a page without any sketches. It was only a matter of time before I ended up studing art too, with the Ars in Fabula Master in Editorial illustration. I also love attending painting courses to improve myself as an artist.

My work is mainly on commission, but I’m also starting to sell products with my original designs.

I funded my company Orange The Tiger to bring together my love for Animals, Nature Conservation, Science, Books, Painting, Drawing, Design... and hopefully it will spread that love further and further, one happy customer at the time.
